I agree.
They have WAY fewer hospital beds per capita than the US. And have likely already lost control of this virus. Cases in Tokyo admitted to hospital already ‘severe’ in nature that weren’t part of any monitoring previously. So it’s circulating there already.
The problem isn’t those particular cruise tourists, it’s the ones like this guy:
