Joe's blood is certainly boiling. It's a mess, all right. This is the first I've heard of an "information for misdemeanor.." as an option. He does lay the blame on the DOJ, specifically Ms Liu.

I have a headache again.

Joe always makes my blood boil. He is usually right and insightful in his observations, but he has been wrong from the beginning that anything would be done about it. I don’t think it is deliberate on his part, he just worked at DOJ in a far different era and he seems stuck on the idea of justice when partisanship rules the halls.
