Running and beating Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi of California may seem like an impossible task, a David versus Goliath mission. But the GOP sports a 34 year old entrepreneur that has the right stuff for the job.
DeAnna Lorraine was born and raised in California and went to Cal State at Chico, where she studied marketing and organizational communications.
For the last ten years she has owned her own personal counseling firm and has had a thorough private sector education in the free market and the challenges facing small businesses everywhere. Her particular job has also given her a unique perspective on the current status of the American family. That’s why her first priority is making sure government does all it can, within common sense limits, to “restore the family unit.”
Lorraine comments, “Even though I’m running as a Republican, so many of the issues we are dealing with cross political lines and affect all Americans – like rising homelessness, broken families, and fatherless homes. Our country is in a crisis of broken families and fatherless homes right now and we need to restore these crucial elements, because strong families create a strong America.”
“Pelosi has been at the head of disastrous federal policies that have done a great deal to result in the continuing destruction of the city of San Francisco….Her priorities are all wrong. While we here in the 12th district deal with the problems of homelessness and broken families that are a product of her failed policies, she focuses on a doomed impeachment. In fact, last year her office sent out 380 press releases. Not one dealt with the ongoing economic crises here in her own backyard.”
Lorraine comments that, “Pelosi has engaged in a downright betrayal of Americans and the Constitution.” The challenger also says that stopping the scourge of illegal immigration is one of her top tasks, noting that “violent illegal immigrants have taken lives in this state and are a tremendous burden on the taxpayers of California. We’ve got to do better in protecting our families from this problem.”
Those who discount Lorraine’s chances, taking into account her climb is certainly uphill, forget Agincourt, the Battle of Britain, and Valley Forge.
Nancy represents the Feces District and she does it well.
If we can get some cool people running to challenge California and NY Dems who campaign on supporting Trump: 1. It a campaign mouthpiece for Trump. 2. It helps win a new congressional seat. 3. It might work both ways and help win the state as a long shot. But the GOP will have to run cool, articulate fresh blood, or cute gals like this lady, not the Roy Moore’s, but the Navy Seals type, and this could be a real winning recipe.

Tom Foley’s Congressional district is one of the most conservative in Washington. IIRC, he was dogged by the Congressional Bank Scandal.

A Washington State Republican is about as mundane and worthless as a any empty suit.
There are multiple candidates running against Pelosi in an open primary on March 3rd. DeAnna will be doing very well to come in second and face off against Nancy in November. There is NO chance DeAnna or any Republican will be elected to any office in San Francisco this November.
Nancy Pelosi is the safest seat in the house. She won with over 86% in 2018. NOT A TYPO. Eighty Six Percent.
If Nancy Pelosi died, or was in a coma, or in prison for eating live babies, she would still win in a landslide.
The only people saying this Republican has a chance are clickbait bloggers.
She won’t win. Not in California. If she lived in a red or purple state she’d probably be a shoo-in but this is the land of fruits and nuts we are talking about.
You NEVER know people in CA. are PISSED, San Francisco is a disgusting mess San Fran Nan could definitely lose her seat on the Dem side they are also PISSED because she lost the impeachment so it is a perfect storm!!!
CA is on its way to a big collapse, but it isn’t there yet,until it does don’t expect things to change there.
Even then the democrats will blame their collapse on the last remaining republican dog catcher. The people of Calif. will nod in agreement and vote in an illegal alien to take his place.
Longshot? Figure out what has even less chance that 'longshot' and that's her.
Leftism cycles... late 60s and 70s NYC collapsed bring in Juliani to clean it up... Eventually California will get to the unsustainable spot and snap right, so it can be cleaned up then once cleaned up learn nothing and veer back to the left....
That truly seems to be the cycle. We had 12 year of great growth with Reagan/Bush (Of course Bush 1 didn’t seem to care if he got re-elected) and the country chose Clinton.
Pelousi is considered a right-wing Conservative in San Francisco. Republicans are lucky to get at or above 10% in this district.
Then again, given the epic level voter fraud in the state, we wouldn’t know if it was closer to 25% because the Dems would never allow a fair reporting of actual votes.
