This was the week that President Trump really started to drain the swamp. It came when he yanked the nomination of Jessie Liu to a Treasury Department post. The decision was all Trumps and occurred after Trump learned details about what was going on when she was United States Attorney for the District of Columbia.
Though Trump was most aggravated with Liu not clamping down on the outrageous sentencing recommendations of her staff in the Roger Stone case, there was a long list of other concerns that made it clear to the president the extent of ideological weaponization across the Justice Department.
Lets start with Roger Stone for now.
Lius so-called career prosecutors devised a sentencing recommendation of nine years in prison for behavior that became commonplace anytime former Attorney General Eric Holder appeared before Congress under oath.
Lest we forget, Holder was found in criminal contempt of Congress in a bipartisan 255-67 vote. Back then, most House Democrats didnt find contempt of Congress to be an impeachable offense. Don't forget, House Democrats marched off the floor during the Holder contempt vote.
This nicely illustrates the central theme that has animated Trumps impeachment, Justice Department investigations of Trump, Lius yank, and the entire political saga of the last three years.

Starts? Well, he should have pulled the big plug when he started! On all of the OBummer dregs.
She might have honestly believed her hard work was for naught. Still it’s ok to go in a different direction. Think travel office.
I trust President Trump. He's an old New York City streetfighter and knows what he's doing.
He knew they had nothing, so sat back and let them expend all of their ammunition and fall flat on their faces.
Now he can finish them and they have no more fight left. He will be much stronger after winning re-election, and hopefully, the Rat Congress will be replaced with many riding his long coattails - just like happened under Ronald The Great, Reagan.
Just like a pro-boxer will bide his time and let the amateur expend all of his energy on glancing blows, this entire waiting game has made President Trump more powerful and devastated the rats.
They have never been weaker, Trump has never been stronger.
Pass the popcorn.
You know there are some people on FR that will complain no matter what he does.
“...You know there are some people on FR that will complain no matter what he does....”
Oh, of course, but my statement is not a complaint...just an observation. Hindsight is always 20-20 mixed with wishful thinking. He is doing beyond great and more is to come which will keep the opposition squealing like the pigs they are...
Yes, more to come...
You know there are some trolls on FR that will complain no matter what he does.
Sure, and by now she would be millions of taxpayer dollars richer from settling the illegal termination lawauit against the government. Federal employees have very strict contracts and employment protections. Maybe you’d be better off leaving these things to President Trump.
Not so sure of that. Trump is slowly building a solid infrastructure..such as the judge appointments..so, when the time comes to let thousands of these scoundrels go the good parts don’t collapse with the bad..?
Not to mention leaving them in place really highlights who the worst of the worst are.
“In June 2017, President Trump nominated Liu to become the next United States Attorney for the District of Columbia,”
He refills the swamp and then drains it. Whew.
MAGA!

What the hell took so long, this dirt bag already had a nomination. Get every Obama holdover terminated from all important positions. Had the situation been reversed all pubbies would have been out of a job.
He gave them a rope, and they took it...
and not that cheap chinese cr_p.
I wouldn’t get too excited about the Swamp being drained one drop:

BREAKING: Durham and his team have not interviewed McCabe. At all. Concerning anything. Not #Spygate espionage. Not illegal FISA warrants. Not Flynn 302 doctoring. Not leaking and lying.

Probably. But I think our President likes to give people a chance. But if you fail even once, you are out. I honestly think he cannot abide dishonesty, or meddling behind his back, etcetera.
This is what happens when you go generations and not actually enforce the Hatch Act! GOP administrations pretend to, Rat administrations don’t even acknowledge its existence.
(Also don’t forget JFK allowing Government unions with an EO!)
Actually what should be done is disallowing federal employees to vote in federal elections. Let them vote in state & local but not federal.
“Trump is slowly building a solid infrastructure..such as the judge appointments”
So we are led to believe. But on threads earlier this week, people stated that Trump only appoints judges that McConnell will push through, and that’s how we got Barr whose loyalty and Deep State status are in question.
So we trust the new Trump appointees are, and will be, good but what is true? Are they who Trump wants, or are they who McConnell wants?
