No. With 30°+ banking, all they have to do is steer.......and that ain’t easy.
Of course they may lift when maneuvering through traffic.

I’m not sure if it’s centripetal force or centrifugal force, but it’s what nails these cars to the track in the turns. Of course, the car must be set-up properly and the wheelman has to be on top of his game.
