Based on what I have seen delivered from the academy I’m not surprised.
Somehow the USAF and maybe the USCG have become the petri dishes on the front lines of military social engineering. I have seen extremely well qualified officers and leaders passed over because of their failure to “demonstrate that they fully embrace” the diversity agenda of the USAF as declared by madam secretary.
Excellent warriors are passed over for not embracing diversity.
Weak officers are given rockets up their butts for demonstrating dedication to the social agenda. These quislings promote more just like themselves and tamp down the warrior / leader / patriot class who are still trying to accomplish the primary mission. The warrior class see the writing on the wall and leave as soon as they can. Soon there will be no warriors.
Sadly, this has been going on since at least the 80’s when I was in.
