To: Alas Babylon!

Clarice Feldman has written an outstanding article about DC law and why McCabe was likely not indicted. She discusses jury bias in the Stone case as well as many other DOJ issues. It is well worth a read.

https://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2020/02/dc_law.html

Over on youtube, Tracy Beanz comments on the perjury charges being dropped against McCabe, Her sources tell her that the grand jury would not indict.

So Barr runs to ABC and gives an interview in which he says President Trump’s tweets are making his job more difficult and he needs to stop involving himself in DOJ matters. In that interview Barr says he is not a Roger Stone fan and was glad he was convicted. So he can voice an opinion about Stone, but Trump cannot tweet an opinion of his own? This ABC interview is over at the Conservative Treehouse, in case anyone missed the full interview, not just the clips that were breathlessly repeated over and over again in MSM.

Why did he do this interview? I think he did this to cover his substantial backside regarding his inability/intent to reign in the rogue agents/attorneys in his departments. His own assistant Shea backed down against the ire of those 4 attorneys who wanted a sentence of 7-9 years for Stone, then removed themselves from the case. What an embarrassment for Barr, so he had to someone blame POTUS’s tweets for this.

Back to McCabe’s “case being closed”. Many have written that Rosenstein was Barr’s “protege.” Some may recall McCabe threatening “if I go down, I’m taking a lot of people down with me”. One of those people was Rosenstein, who set up the whole Mueller Russia hoax, and tried to entrap the President. McCabe said he would subpoena Rosenstein if his case went to trial. Imagine the dirty laundry this might have revealed!

I believe Barr is a cleaner, a fixer and will not deal adequately with the corrupt DOJ. He was brought in to see that all the corrupt people were protected (like Comey, McCabe, Rosenstein) etc.

Durham, in my view is going to turn out to be another Huber. There will be nothing there.

I hope I am wrong, but watching this fiasco unfold has made me realize there is no justice for anyone who supports Trump or is associated with him.

I wonder if Barr signs off on these cases before they are announced ?

Would assume so but it also looks like the corrupt prosecutors get their say so and his comment re Stone doesn’t jive with the treatment of McCabe and lying.

To me if McCabe skates on everything them the comment on protecting others because he would “ rat them out “ is very true.

Great post.

I’m trying to figure it all out but I think you’re close to the truth.

Good post. Agree.

Barr was confirmed by the GOP Senate to protect the GOP from fallout from their roll in obama admin Spygate and the ongoing coup. We still don’t know McConnell’s roll as a Gang of 8 memeberj, Graham’s true roll in spreading the Steele haox, etc.

It is very instructive that the normally camera shy McConnell rushed to a Fox news interview a couple hours after Barr gave his ABC interview. He supported Barr and piled on POTUS. It was all obviously coordinated and designed to undermine POTUS as he got to the heart of the matter: GOPe top cover for the ongoing Deep State coup.

Trump has many things under control except who he can trust and who he can’t. But eventually he will get there as well.
Brilliant post.

D.C. Petit jury problems will be there in any case Barr brings. Not sure how to get around it. As a trial lawyer myself, I feel Barr’s pain. Add Judge Amy to the mix and Barr has a formidable task. I do civil law perhaps a criminal lawyer could offer suggestions on a way to change venues.

Unfortunately I think that anybody that works for the government will be one of them. So nothing will come of this at all nobody will be arrested.

Thanks to the link to Tracy Beanz’s Youtube video. I’d encourage everyone to listen. I guess Barr is probably as ticked at the system as anyone.

As far as whether McCabe is out of the woods yet, apparently no one outside of Durham’s inner circle knows, and they’re not talking. Can you say “frustrating?”
