Exactly. I have never seen a female roofer or any construction
type. Back in the late 70’s one owned a plumbing business. I never saw her install anything.
I remember female ‘owners’ in the 70s. ALL were either given 50% by hubby or hubby died.
After construction companies made Blacks ‘owner/pres’ to get govt jobs enough hell was raised to make ‘others’ eligible.
