These are the same admirals and generals that allowed Benghazi to occur. They allowed the Iranians to capture two American navy patrol boats and humiliate the crews. The are for allowing the pointless military actions in Iraq, Syria and Afghanistan to go on for ever. But someone might have heard something the president said on the phone although the transcript of the phone call proves otherwise.

They’re not generals. They dress up like generals; but they’re dog-faced bureaucrats, stick-horse pony soldiers.

This is why the founders of this country had no interest in establishing a large standing army.
Anyone who is a career military officer should never be trusted to uphold the ideals of a free nation.

Leftist generals are indeed revolting.
Their TDS is outing them as the un-patriots they are.
I hope the FFWs and AmVets where such traitors live will be vocal about those aholes.

Retired Marine Gen. John Kelly said at an event at Drew University on Wednesday that Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman did the right thing when he raised concerns about President Donald Trump's call to the Ukrainian presidentIf Vindman really had concerns about the call, he should have raised it within his chain-of-command (either military or civilian), NOT leaked the SECRET information to some guy he knew in the CIA. What he had was a policy difference with the POTUS (also known as Commander in Chief), so he leaked it. And he didn't even have the guts to leak it himself, he leaked it to someone he knew would leak it elsewhere.
Vindman needs to be brought up on charges of insubordination and misuse of classified information (even if his friend in the CIA had the clearance, he didn't have the need-to-know).

Kelly is a civilian. His last job was White House Chief of Staff, a civilian job. He was a general once upon a time, but not anymore. When you take off your uniform, you can behave like any other civilian, and they do. Many of the comments on this thread are very confused about this fact.

Looks like a revolt of the retired generals. The active duty generals and admirals are keeping their mouths shut.

Retired Marine Gen. John Kelly said at an event at Drew University on Wednesday that Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman did the right thing when he raised concerns about President Donald Trump’s call to the Ukrainian president in late July, according to a report in The Atlantic.
Let’s take that to be true for the purposes of the argument.
It still says nothing good about Vindman’s countermand to the Ukrainians, and even less about Vindman’s leaking classified information.
