With populist Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont now considered the front-runner in the race for the Democratic nomination, concern and resistance is growing among mainstream and establishment Democrats inside and outside the nations capital.
Moderate lawmakers sounded the alarm bells Thursday, Fox News Chad Pergram and Marisa Schultz reported from Capitol Hill.
Its bad, one freshman Democrat from a swing district said. We are having conversations about how to deal with this.

...in the Democrat party???
They are not moderate in their positions, because they all hold the same positions. They are moderate because of the tone of their rhetoric, and their public perception.
You just have to learn Newspeak.
Also, things will make much more sense to you when you remember that when they say "good for America" or Americans, or patriotic.... they always, always, always mean "good for the DNC", or for Democrats, or loyal to their rulership.
Seriously, once you understand their language, they actually start to make some sense for once. Not any that you and I would agree with, but at least it isn't pure hypocritical insanity anymore.
Does it seem many of the Democrats that are NOT Communists
or perverts are beginning to walk away?
The Corruptocrats are being forced to defend multiple fronts as their party implodes!
“Moderate Democrat” is mass media speak for “Sociopathic Liars”.
I consider that an insult to Alfred E. Newman.
Gropin’ Joe was the firewall inserted to stop the Bern. Uh, oh.
Yes, and if history is any guide going back to 1952, I don’t see a nominee of either Dem or GOP party who didnt come in at least 1st or 2nd in either Iowa or New Hampshire. e.g. Reagan came in 2nd to Bush in 1980 in Iowa but won New Hampshire and there were 6 candidates so full fields are not that unusual.
In Iowa, 1992 with an Iowa Dem Senator running, and sex scandals breaking Bill Clinton finished 3rd or 4th if you count uncommitted, but finished 2nd in New Hampshire.
McCain came in a close 4th in Iowa in 2008 and won New Hampshire , every other nominee of either party has come in either either 1st or 2nd in one of the two.
So if this holds the nominees is going to be either Bernie or Mayor Pete B
Biden or others might defy history because the country has higher % people of color in other states but its looking like Sanders to me. as there is also a trend of who came in 2nd last time in primaries wins next time. Bloomberg is the wild card as advertising does pay but it would be hard for lefties to support a billionaire
You're right. Sorry. ;-)
Plus apparently he's endorsed by these CIA types...
Butt Giggles.
They found a moderate Democrat?
So long as the other candidates stay in it Bernie isn’t really ahead of anything. If he gets to the convention with merely a plurality without it being a majority of delegates then the DNC will choose its own Nominee. Alfred E But]*+/g and Bernie staying close together in the delegate count with Pocahontas slogging along at a couple of % and Whozizs and Whodatt each getting another couple of % gives the choice to the DNC and Bernie gets flushed unless, of course, DNC calculates he can actually win the election.
LOL, good one.
Those CIA types needs to be removed...They look gay...
