I agree completely.

Why is AG Barr whining to the media, why doesn’t he simply pick up the phone and talk to the President directly?

Episodes like this, diminishes the President’s authority and his freedom of speech.

I’m sick and tired of everyone who hasn’t been elected president, trying to be the president.

Because the audience here isn’t the President. An AG needs room to operate. If he doesn’t get it, at the least he can be forced to recuse himself, and we’re back to where we were with Sessions.

While there are political aspects of the AGs job, ensuring justice shouldn’t be obscured by those aspects. Holder and Yates were strong examples of what not to do. Trumps tweets on pending cases obscure here, even if they shine light on many things that need light shone.
