Six women out of the more than dozens of women who have accused Harvey Weinstein of vile sexual behavior have testified over the last two weeks at his rape trial in New York City.
Their testimonies were allowed in court despite most of them not being the subject of the actual charges against the disgraced movie mogul, allowing the prosecution to establish a pattern of lewd and violent sexual behavior by Weinstein.
Weinstein, 67, is charged with raping Jessica Mann in March 2013 and forcibly performing oral sex on Mimi Haleyi in 2006.

To an astonishing degree, Leftists take personal trauma and difficulty and try to asuage them through politics. One of the most instructive line of questions to ask a Leftist is what experiences helped shape their political views. Commonly, rape, mistreatment by family or a boss, or some form of victimization by a conservative or Republican or a religious figure set their politics to the Left.
Yes, and was that memory of mistreatment the product of a session with a therapist, a memory recovered after years of repression? I won an award for my law school comment on that topic, on suggestibility in these cases.
Whether real or imagined, that is how the budding Leftist saw it — and we only have their account to go on.
The usual pattern is for the episode to be formative in that person’s life and consciouly remembered without therapeutic assistance.
I remember the “story problems” from elementary school Arithmetic and as far as these #MeToo stories are concerned, I am at a default level, skeptical of the given answers and try to work the problem out to see if my conclusion is anywhere near the given answer(s). The only thing I assume is that some of those women want(ed) fame, fortune and celebrity to the extent that they were willing to accomplish their goals by any means necessary.
Pattern evidence.
Harvey W. had a reputation as a casting couch type of sexual predator. Some women knew that in advance and accepted it as a career cost, while others did not and were cruelly victimized. My guess is that he is convicted in part but skates on at least some charges.

My guess the ones that didn’t beco0me huge stars might regret doing what they did.

That said, these girls/women bought into his con. Each one made a gift of herself to something they thought they could handle.
Growing up, mom always told me to never go anywhere where I’d be the only girl in the room and to always suspect those situations.

Yeah, I have no doubt about ol’ Harv’s being a sexist pig but that is not illegal.
