I totally agree with you regarding experience.
On the other hand, Obama had near zero experience as well.
The “deep state” is mostly concerned with being able to control.

He was inexperienced.

Obama had plenty of experience. However, his experience taught him all the wrong things, and it’s not like he didn’t knowingly sign up for that particular “curriculum”.
