RUSH: You want another shocking bit of news from last nights turnout? In fact, let me find a graphic here. Trump turnout and he wasnt even contested dwarfed the Democrat turnout in Iowa, and it happened again last night in New Hampshire. In fact, heres a breakdown of some numbers. Trumps record-breaking incumbent voter turnout. If you are an incumbent and you are unopposed, theres no reason to show up other than to show your support. I mean, your candidate doesnt really need you because hes already got the nomination locked up.
Last night 118,774 people showed up to vote for Donald Trump, 118,774. And they found a bunch of them were Democrats, a bunch of them are stealth, they hadnt identified them before. I mean, that number is close to what the turnout was for the Democrat candidates who were actually in a contest.
But heres some even starker comparisons. Obama, who was running in 2012 unopposed, this is the New Hampshire primary, Obama 49,000 votes. Trump, 118,000. In 2004, George W. Bush, incumbent, unopposed, New Hampshire primary, 53,000 votes. Bill Clinton 1996, 76,000 votes. And Reagan 1984, 65,000 votes.
Trump is dwarfing every previous incumbent president so far in turnout and votes so far in the Iowa caucus and the New Hampshire primary. It equals enthusiasm, and it equals, I think, a very energized level of support. And I think much of it not all, obviously but a significant percentage of it is driven by the never-ending, ceaseless hatred for Trump throughout the Drive-By Media.
I think the Drive-By Media is actually being counterproductive for their own interests. I think they are creating Trump support. Theyre not hurting Trump. They are creating more and more Trump support among people who otherwise wouldnt even be motivated to go out on a night where Trumps election is not even in question.
But these are people that want to go back and show the mainstream media or whatever it is thats angering them that it isnt working. Theres so much enthusiasm for Trump out there, its gonna be hard to tabulate. But on the other side, NBC News exit polls showed last night voters between the ages of 18 and 29 made up only 11% of the Democrat electorate, 18 to 29, Millennials, made up only 11% of the Democrat electorate, far below the 19% of 18 to 29-year-olds who voted in 2016.
Now, we keep being told that the Democrats have all this enthusiasm, they hate Trump, its just about beating Trump, we gotta find anybody that can beat Trump. Trumps gotta go, Trumps gotta go. The Democrat Party doesnt care who, theyre so energized, they hate Trump, they hate the name calling, they hate the mudslinging, they hate the tweeting, they hate Trump, they hate him, they cant wait to get rid of Trump. There is no such enthusiasm. At least it isnt showing up in Iowa, and it didnt show up in New Hampshire.
Bernie Sanders percentage of the vote that he got I know he was only opposed by Crooked Hillary back in 2016, but it doesnt matter. Bernie Sanders, his support has dropped off the map. He barely ekes out a win last night. He wins, it counts as a win, although Buttigieg is still leading in delegates. But the enthusiasm for Crazy Bernie is even waning. How do you explain that?
Like I said yesterday, the Democrats are offering solutions to problems that no longer exist. And boy, is that ever true of Crazy Bernie.
Woot!
MAGA
Bigly
I hope the answer is that a lot of democrats showed up and voted for Trump. The advertising and push from local politicians is aimed at getting Democrats to the polls. Maybe they got them to the polls alright but they didn’t vote the way they have been programmed to.
Just guessing.
the left have been trying to take the vote away from republicans by impeaching republican presidents, and taking their votes away via the popular vote, for decades now- EVERY republican president has faced impeachment attempts going back many decades-
Now Virginia will take away the electoral points if the country votes for democrat in the ‘popular vote’ vote- meaning that large states and cities will now determine election results-
“Virginia House passes bill to award electoral votes to whoever wins the popular vote”

Many of the Trump voters voted for dem candidate in operation CAOS event SO it think the numbers would have been higher for Trump!!!
I agree. Unfortunately Virginia belongs 100 percent to the Rat party.
I’ll tell ya, I’ve been voting for 32 years, and I’ve never missed a presidential election, but I have never been as energized and enthusiastic to vote as I am this year. No GOP president in my lifetime has done more to earn and deserve my vote more than Trump. From the results in NH, it looks like a lot of folks feel the same way.
Almost 120,000 votes. Trump smashed standing primary records. Hes on a roll!
Unlike some states mine allows me to take either ballot.
Ditto.I first voted in November of ‘72 and haven’t missed a November election since. I’m willing to crawl over broken glass to get to the polls on 11/3. And that’s true despite the fact that none of the candidates I vote for have a prayer of getting the most votes in this state.I’ll vote for the President to add to his nationwide popular vote total.
[Russian accent] It is mandate, Jim (you say Zheem).
No, we are not!
A total of 295,000+ democrats voted in the NH primary.
We have to overcome that plus the democrat fraud in November.
Do NOT become complacent!
We need to get out EVERY Trump voter this fall.
Registered Democrats could not vote for Trump....They had to take a Dem ballot (I know, I’m registered R and tried to take a D ballot). Independents can declare for either party and take the ballot of their choosing. I suspect a lot of the D ballots cast were Independent Trump supporters voting to in the D primary to cause havoc.
Rush should have also pointed out that the President at his Manchester rally Monday night did NOT ask his supporters to vote for him. In fact, he did the opposite. He suggested - in his sarcastic way - that his supporters should cross over and vote for the weakest democrat.
One has to wonder how many of his supporters were planning to vote for him but instead followed his suggestion and voted for Klobuchar.
