There are a lot of towns in places like Kansas and Nebraska that had 2000-3000 folks back in the 40’s and 50’s that have dwindled to just handfuls now.

That happened due to big-picture economic forces. Sad in a way, but is it really so big a tragedy that we went to forcibly restock them with foreigners?

Some things are destined to go extinct. Like the Panda. Read up on its eating and reproductive habits, and you just have to ask yourself why it hasn’t gone extinct already.

It’s not sad it’s greed. POS libertarian trade policies the have just about taken down the USA.
