President Trump has withdrawn his nomination of Jessie Liu to serve as a top Treasury Department official, Fox News has learned.
The presidents move to withdraw Lius nomination comes just hours after four Justice Department lawyers quit following a move by senior leaders at the department to overrule the prosecutors' judgment by seeking a lesser sentence for long-time Trump ally Roger Stone after he was found guilty of lying to Congress.
Liu is a former U.S. Attorney for Washington, D.C., who before her nomination oversaw the prosecutions of Stone and former Trump national security adviser Michael Flynn over charges of false statements to the FBI.

Trump screwed Jessie Liu...Well done! Trump must have a new consigliare in charge.
Good move.
According to Open Secrets she contributed thousands of dollars to Mitt Romney
Why was she nominated in the first place? We would be better off with an empty chair.
She would have been in charge of financial crimes, she would have been able to cover for the Ukranian money laundering operations that are now going to be looked at,great job Mr. President.
Tru dat.
WTH?
Well, actions have consequences and under President Trump, lack of action also has consequences!
Simple. She thought she would get a promotion so Trump moved her out of her safe space. She bit, thinking she could be subversive.
I wonder if she was the one who wrote the book.
She was nominated as part of his plan to get rid of her - got her to resign a post that she couldn’t be removed from for another position and now he metes out the coup de grace...he played her and her ego to the max.
Down they go! So many criminal seditionists and traitors...so little time. Hahahaha.
This loathsome critter ran the US Attorney’s Office for the area of Washington DC
This is called WINNING! I savored how Trump jerked the welcome mat right out from under her. Liu ran her office in a very biased way. She had Republicans prosecuted to the max and let Democrap miscreants off easy.
Why did he pick her in the first place?
Slick move. Do that to her about 3000 more times, and she’ll know what it’s like to be an American IT person.
It is my opinion that Trump nominated Jessie Liu for the Treasury job so she would be questioned about her lenient treatment of James Wolfe.
Apparantly, the Senate got to Trump and demanded that he drop her as they did not want to be the ones to have those questions asked.
