I can appreciate your point of view but first of all, of course I can't know for certain, but unless you've ever recovered from some substance abuse you'll never appreciate the mind numbing, infuriating hypocrisy of aholes like ‘’familyop’’. They wrap themselves in it and preach with a self-righteous tone as if God speaks through them like an Old Testament prophet. In reality self-righteousness is just a phony form of respectability.

Trying to outlaw the proclivity of human beings , as Oscar Wilde put it ‘’ to cure the soul by means of the senses’’ is a useless exercise in control but the modern state(i.e government) has learned it is an excellent way to control people and make a ton of money. Morality is a code of behavior that must be taught by society and one’s faith tradition, parents and peers. It can't be enforced at the point of a gun or compelled by an essentially morally compromised legal system. Drugs are a commodity. That means money. When you have a problem with money , you get control of the money and you get control of the problem.

Yes, but one may have to endure afflictions if one preaches the word, being ready in season and out of season, and convinces, rebukes, and exhorts, with all longsuffering and teaching.

Much easier top bray about "druggies" (and tits) and vote for people who promise to do one's God-ordained job for one.
