You're making my point. By drugs being illegal, it increases the profit motive. Drug money fuels corruption of the police, funds terrorism, enriches unscrupulous financiers and bankers and without age appropriate laws are easily available to kids. Why shouldn't an ault be able to use cocaine or smoke pit? because of the dangers to life and limb? Alcohol fuels far more damage. Gambling is an addiction and yet virtually every state in the nation allows it. Tobacco products are still readily available. Morality is not the issue. Adult choice and personal freedom of choice are. In reality, the end result of protecting people from their own folly is to live in a world full of fools.
