Barr has been hands off the SC legacy prosecutions up until now because of the scenario you describe.
Lawyers from DC DOJ should be advisory only. Lawyers should be brought in from other parts of the country or cases sent to them for action. The swamp creatures cannot be trusted.
Something tells me it was NOT their idea to resign. Whether Shea was bullied, or went to Barr with objections, or what, these three, imho, just got a beat-down, and it’s not over yet! Barr is cleaning house, and if he WAS bamboozled by Shea, or Shea is on our side, it shouldn’t take long to find out.

Trump has turned the tables and is running both offense AND defense. He’s proven impeachment has not hurt him one bit, and in fact, has helped him, showing the American people the lying, dirty dealing democrat House for what it is. NOBODY was fooled by Schiff and Nadlers’s phony “witnesses”, who gave nothing but opinions, instead of evidence, nor the low-down unconstitutional disallowing Trump to defend himself. If they try to impeach him again, they won’t get far. And the BEST part? Trump is now free to do all the things he’s wanted to do since day one, to drain the swamp. If they hadn’t put on their little unconstitutional schiff-show, maybe they could make another one stick, but not now. As my southern gentleman cousin puts it, they’ve “torn their dress, for everyone to see, and it AIN’T pretty.”
No one is seeing this as a problem for President Trump… Timing of these sudden departures isn’t bending internal pressure at DOJ??
This was all planned by the Mueller prosecutors and the Dems lawfare group to continue the harassment of the Trump administration. Now wait for calls to impeach AG Barr to start. That is why Mueller’s prosectors recommended such a stiff sentence for Stone - they made it disproportionate so that the DOJ would intervene, which set up their resignations in protest which will lead to further calls for investigations and impeachments. All done with malice.
It’s been totally insane since the beginning of the Mueller Coup. Once Weissmann hired Obama’s White House lawyer every single GOP Senator should have marched over to the White House and stood with POTUS while he fired Mueller and his dirty Democrats. They didn’t do that and here we are three years later still dealing with the fall out of a partisan witch hunt that has been aided and abetted by the GOP at ever step.
