He was having fun messing with some of the old liberal broads.

They hate him but they could not say why. Typical.

Actually, it isn’t. States can make what ever rules they want.

I’d love to see PDJT show up to a Biden Rally and pass out Pelosi masks.

Vote! Talk to all of your friends and relatives and nudge them toward voting. Use social media to urge others to vote. Don’t be complacent. Don’t get overconfident.

“States like Colorado changed their law so the candidate with the mot popular votes gets their electoral votes.”

Won’t be a problem at all.

First, the states doing this word their law so that it doesn’t go into effect until states with a combined 270 electoral votes agree to it.

Second, if the “wrong” person/party wins the national popular vote, the dem state legislatures will quickly change the law. State legislatures have the constitutional power to award their electors as they see fit.

"Actually, it isn’t. States can make what ever rules they want."

You are correct. However, if the rule they make is challenged in court, it might be ruled unconstitutional based upon disenfranchising the will of the people who voted in majority fashion within their state for the candidate who did not win the nation's popular vote. In essence, this would be having their choice being determined by another, more populated state. Since the states themselves determine their own rules, it is assumable that they cannot be imposed upon by the results or rules of another state. This "popular vote" rule would be exactly that and in my opinion would easily be ruled unconstitutional.

Our founders established the electoral college precisely to avoid having the more populated states determine every election so this is another clear reason that this "popular vote" rule would fail in the courts.

If Trump gets the popular votes, Blue states will find themselves awarding their electoral votes to him.

If its a landslide, the usual vote fraud won’t matter.

State legislatures have the constitutional power to award their electors as they see fit.

It's a pity that Republican State Legislatures won't change their law so that the EC votes are awarded by Congressional District. Then it wouldn't matter if the cities come in with 110% votes as it would carry only their district and not the whole State, as it does now in most states.

ME and NE are the only two that do that. Beauty of this is that it would put all states in play. There would be Republican EC votes to be had in CA, NY, IL. But on the other hand there’d be Dem EC votes to be had in TX.
