Anyone know if the Chinese are still reporting the number of people tested positive for infection, as well as the number with symptoms? (I still suspect these numbers do NOT catch everyone in either case, but the Chinese gov’t’s numbers are the best we have for now to compare what’s happening, one day to another.)

There have been some twitter posts claiming that the Chinese are no longer reporting those who “test positive but do not have symptoms”, however, I suspect that even if true, it makes little difference. Most sources have said from the beginning that those without symptoms are NOT being tested, as there are just not enough test kits. Secondly, nobody in their right mind would go to the hospital to get tested if they felt OK at this point. In fact, I would bet there are many thousands of cases where people are just staying home and hoping for the best, rather than report to “quarantine camps”.

ZeroHedge has this tweet of a Chinese-language copy up on their website. Haven't seen a counter-order yet. Alex Lam 林偉聰 @lwcalex Chinese National Health Commission has changed their definition of #WuhanCoronavirus "confirmed case" in their latest guidelines dated 7/2. Patients tested positive for the virus but have no symptoms will no longer be regarded as confirmed. This inevitably will lower the numbers. https://www.zerohedge.com/health/how-china-rigging-number-coronavirus-infections
