Oh, I agree with that aspect as well. But many of the NSA people who work in the White House don’t fall into that category, and I am sure he thought the military people would be trustworthy...which they weren’t.
After the Obama purges this was something the GOP could have informed him of...but chose not to. Up until 2019 the Republican party had done more to obstruct this administration than to aid it. Even now, GOP backing of the President is half-hearted at best.
Are there some in the capitol who believe in what the President is attempting to do? YES! But just wait until the RATS make some new, baseless charge....there won't be enough syrup in Canada to cover the waffles
