He should have said he wasn’t invited because he’s a back-stabbing Judas and everybody hates his guts.You're right - it could be viewed as a threat. This was a stupid thing to say. Conservatives are not angry mobs, and we rarely resort to any violence. He was more at risk riding the subway to get to the event, than at the event.
I mean, he would have been booed, and had his feelings hurt. But nobody would have physically assaulted him.
