This is the one I have been using for a couple of weeks now.

I open it every morning. It appears to only update daily. I never see the numbers change during the day.

I have no idea how reliable any of these numbers are, from any sources, but still, I am glad that the number of “recovered” is now nearly 4 times the number of deaths. It wasn’t that long ago when the number of recovered was less than the number of deaths.

I don't have a way; was curious about your thinking. We both take it for granted that DJT will be blamed for anything he can be. But that's not the same as saying the alternative would sell as a plausible improvement.

I would expect Trump to do quite a lot if the virus becomes pandemic here. It's not clear how effective any of it would be, though.

Right now, the stat is 40573 confirmed cases and 910 deaths. Yes, we all know those numbers are probably not accurate.

That makes the morality rate 910/40573 = .022429 or 2.24%. I think you lost a digit on your infected.

I’ve often thought the same thing. Every time I had an inside stateroom I would end up getting sick. We have tended to balcony or better since the last time I got sick.
Last cruise I was sick before we left so I pretty much chilled in the stateroom except for getting g meals.
Next cruise will be the 2nd voyage for the new ship so if we do go hopefully all will be good. We did get inside cabins in a upgraded portion of the ship. Separate elevators etc. Will see maybe how that works out.

Your numbers are assuming all that have active cases will survive. They will not. My assumption is, we only evaluate the ratio of Dead to Cured.

The number of dignosed cases indicate if the virus is expanding, but not the final outcome of the case.

Dead/Cured = death rate that is at final outcome.

The Enterprise’s reactor had power to spare, and then some. I doubt *any* air was recirculated. It’s a fuel saving measure. Not an issue on any CVN. On USN subs, I expect they could heat the air up so any bugs die and cool it down again, courtesy of surplus juice from the reactor.
