So you’re saying the weapons the American people are armed with are not enough to serve as an effective deterrent to tyrannical government as the Founding Fathers intended? OK, then clearly we will need to equip the American people with MORE and DEADLIER weapons so that they can fulfill their constitutional role right? I note that fully automatic weapons, land mines, mortars, RPGs, armed drones are all well within the average person’s budget. So....which of these do you wish to legalize?
Oh and of course if you think its going to be a handful of rednecks in the woods with their AR-15s vs the total might of the US military (the standard leftist fantasy), then you’re a complete moron. Civil Wars almost never play out like that. The military is as divided as the rest of the country - in which case all those hundreds of millions of privately owned firearms and billions of rounds of ammunition definitely do matter.
Does the F-15 carry Hellfires? That’s a pretty fast platform for air-to-ground. And expensive if you’re trying to knock out all the camouflaged Rick Johnson’s out there in the woods.
