gerrymandering might somehow help balance the senate more equitably.

That is one of the funniest sound bytes of the week.

But hey, why can't we take, say Delaware, and assign half to Virginia and half to Merryland?

Why not have California assigned to New Mexico and Nevada?

Y'all need to keep and open mind.

That county in western Virginia that's being courted by West Virginia for 2A reasons is not even contiguous with WV, so some serious gerrymandering might be needed. Or not, these days.

Lets gerrymander Minneapolis and Madison into Minneconsin. And Chicago and Detroit in Michinois. Leave the rest of their citizens alone to live in peace.

I've actually advanced the theory that in reality, California has 6 US senators (by invading neighboring states with lefty Californians fleeing the turd-world Mitthole they themselves created):

CA - 2
NV - 2
AZ - 1
CO - 1

CA is working on picking up 1 more in AZ, and 1 more in CO.

We might be able to count Milt Dumbney in with the captive CA senators...
