I think everything we want to happen "tomorrow",all the bad guys arrested and jailed,will ultimately happen in the second term.
However,Pres.Trump is so concerned about what we think my guess is he felt like it was time to at least acknowledge illegality after being slammed to death for three years. Criminals at all levels threw everything against the wall they could think of trying to sink Trump. Only to see nothing stick.
He really had to do something and he did.

He can take our the McCabes, Strozk, etc now but save the big fish - Comey, Brennan, Clapper for later and hope they squeal on their Messiah Barry O.
