Nobody who answered here is wrong, but I have to think there’s something else at work.
The current anti-police wave DID start with Obama. I know, I was a police officer at the time. It happened almost overnight, “Obama’s sons” were in cops’ faces with the full expectation that there would be no repercussions.
Eric Holder as the “Top Cop” reinforced this idea, always on the wrong side of justice.

It has to do with Algerian method, used during civil war in 60’s if memory serves.
Politicians used muslims to frighten/kill subdue population - to point that population wanted anyone to stop the terror, where upon politicians moved in - slaughtered terrorists and took over region.
As I recall - political solution turned out as bad as terrorist that brought about said solution.
I believe if you look around country - you will see similar articles outlining terror programs instigated by democrats- be it not charging crimes, to giving RORs for major felonies.
Also consider the explosion of sanctuary cities and states,
It is concerted effort, I have see articles indicating Soros funding but do not know if only driving force, or if all out try at subverting Constitution, by many factions.
