To me it could have been a good movie if it wasn’t suppose to be “the joker”. The joker is the clown prince of crime. He invented a gas that kills people and leaves them with a rigor mortis grin from ear to ear. He plans elaborate criminal schemes that would be successful without the interference of Batman.

Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker couldn’t plan a lunch date never mind inventing a lethal nerve agent. The joker is another installment in Warner Bro’s long line of not staying true to the DC characters. But now that this was so successful we are just going to get more of it. And that is truly a twisted joke.
