When I am confronted with such reactions to a new movie, I always think back to MST3K.
It’s JUST a MOVIE,so RELAX. Just because it doesn’t fit one’s self-imaged view of who should play a part, or how they should play it, or whether the hero wins in 90 minutes really doesn’t matter.

Sure it does....I’ve turned lousey acting and bad scripts off plenty of times within 15 minutes of watching with no regrets... But because there were so many ‘must watch’ reviews, interviews, and a push of reveiws about Joker I kept waiting, and waiting, and waiting, to see what the fuss was on why this was suppose to be such a great movie....it wasn’t.
