Peter Strzok says he is ready to respond to President Trump's "attacks."
The former FBI agent reviled by Trump and his allies tweeted Thursday evening, something he rarely does, to respond to the president who mocked him and fellow FBI alumna Lisa Page hours earlier at the White House.
He shared a message from his lawyer, Aitan Goelman, who said: "Angered by the disclosures of yet more instances of his betrayal of our national security in the service of his own political advantage, President Trump raged and threatened those public servants tasked with investigating or testifying about his serial misconduct."
Goelman added, "Peter Strzok, a patriotic career counterintelligence agent whose conduct in the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election has been vindicated by two independent IG investigations, today found himself targeted by his President in yet another unhinged attack .... " Strzok himself teased a further response.
"I will have a great deal more to say about the president’s attacks on those with responsibility for holding him accountable. America deserves better," Strzok said.

What if there is a secret grand jury reviewing evidence of Strzok, would that exonerate Barr in your mind?
Nope. Strzok is just an operative, the crimes are much deeper, wider and higher. Barr is Wray’s boss and what the FBI has continued to do is criminal. Barr himself is obviously highly compromised as the Bush family’s longtime coverup man.
I think there was a corrupt deal with Barr going into this position, in part driven by McConnell declining to have the Senate approve any true MAGA candidates for the position.
I disagree about Barr. The guy is up there in years and has said many times he’s no longer beholden to anyone. He’s in it for the rule of law period.
And you better believe POTUS gets together with him OFTEN and would spot duplicity if it was ever found.
Barr gave an excellent speech in December where he laid it all out, the resistance, the evolution of the coup cabal, and so on. And he also has said there’s a faction of the so-called resistance which fears him and wants him dead and there’s a faction of hysterics like you that want to see him hauled off to jail and he dismissed the latter saying “these things take time”.
I have every confidence in Barr, Durham, Giuliani and others. There’s a tight team under POTUS and so far the Democrats, their fake media, and their compromised GOP double agents are digging their hole deeper. No one, NOT ONE PERSON should interfere with these traitors while they destroy themselves.
The rumor back when Trump named Barr was that he was the Bush family choice as an enforcer, with the Bush and Trump families forging a truce after Poppy died and the sons didn’t want to carry on his crime legacy. The idea was that the big stuff would stay buried.
I see no evidence to the contrary on that so far. 9/11? The CIA, MI6 and Mossad’s child sex blackmail operations via Epstein? The massive gun and drug running of the Deep State, including our corrupt intel agencies? The FBI under Wray continues to bury and cover up.
Durham and Barr are reportedly specialists in engaging court cases primarily to see evidence buried forever. Obsessing primarily on the FISA abuse is to focus on a speck that doesn’t lead to the real criminals at the top. Also, Barr doesn’t have to be beholden to anyone—he has enough of his own crimes to want to be kept buried (and which likely makes him beholden still).
DC is a Swamp and the Barrs and Muellers, for example, reportedly longtime friends.
