Hopefully, what they did in 2016, and not what they did in 2008 and 2012. I don't think voters have any pent up guilt over perceived wrongs done to gays, so I don't think they'll get any mileage trying to shame voters. But they can't help themselves. Maybe Pete will pick a black VP, so they can call us racist AND homophobic.
