Mutual embargoes between Russia and Ukraine make any efforts fruitless. The company was established by the Russians and for the Russian market. I have no idea what EU might do to support it. Should it buy a thousand aircraft engines annually it has no use for? China is their only solution. Even Russia is of no help anymore since it is now building 90% of that it has imported by itself. And China has no plans to keep the production in Ukraine. You might stop acquisition of assets by China but you won’t stop engineers and plans from fleeing to China.
