The rich are different from you and me they can buy themselves instant presidential campaigns.
Former New York Mayor Mike Bloomberg has elbowed himself into the Democratic nomination race solely on the basis of his fortune.
His campaign is high-handed as only a billionaire many times over could even contemplate. He entered late, is skipping the early contests and hasnt participated in any of the debates to date (although that will change soon, thanks to the Democratic National Committee retrofitting its rules for Bloomberg).

I don’t think that the Dems will pick Bloomie as he’s not really their base’s kind of guy, BUT I do consider him their most dangerous candidate at this point and the only one who’d be able to give Trump a run for his money. Independent and swing voters who like Trump’s economic success but don’t like his personality may indeed see Bloomie as an alternative who could be trust to not tank the economy.
Bloomberg: ‘The best democrat money can buy’.
You do realize this headline could be seen as Naked Midget Spends Cash to Invade The White House. Then Film at Eleven. It would work for CNN.
I told him not to use Freelancer.com. They're great for piecing out small IT jobs, but really, would you trust some guy from Bangladesh named Nasrati to write your presidential platform?
Given all the current assaults on “democracy” buying an election with your own money rates pretty low on the scale.
Much as people complain about it there are some good results. A lot of people, from the folks who hold the cameras that make his commercials to the lady who makes the donuts that they buy to the janitors that clean up after they leave, are getting paychecks. It’s not all just highly paid consultants. He doesn’t have a snowball’s chance in Hell of winning but a lot of people benefit from his folly in the meantime. Spend away, Mike.

They’d prefer that he try to win the office the old fashioned Democrat way;
Vote Fraud.
Plus, spending his own money on his campaign, rather than that of ‘the suckers’ and the influence buyers is SO déclassé.

On the eve of the Democrat Convention Shorty will ‘donate’ $10 billion to the Cause and thereby secure the nomination.
The last thing in life I want to see is Bloomberg “naked”. I won’t eat for months and will need eyeball replacements too.
I think most will say that Bloomberg would have made a better Independent candidate, and could have spoiled the election enough that no Electoral College outcome could occur, and the whole thing would have gone to the House to decide the next President of the United States. Bloomberg at best....has some good numbers in maybe five states. Beyond that...he’s a loser.
I think once Biden drops out, Bloomberg and his money become the Dems “moderate” choice. Bloomberg would not be popular with the core constituency of Dems - blacks and if he were the Dem candidate many of them would stay home election day which would enhance Republican congressional chances. A win-win in my book.
My 1st laugh this morning!
Just wait until they get a load of Bloomberg’s personality.

Up for the highest bidder, cause once you're in, you make millions. Look at those cheap ChiCongo grifters O'bummers. Broke when they went in. Now have multiple estates worth millions.
