During my military career I saw many people like Vindman. I think anything that happens to him will not be enough. I pray that they remove his clearances, strip him of rank and pension and flush him. I would advertise on the dark web for some creative get even techniques.

Not all careerists are rear area warriors. Wesley Clark had plenty of battlefield courage and was seriously wounded as a battalion co in VN. He also had a huge ego and an ability to use the press for self promotion almost the equal of George A Custer. Even at West Point he managed to get his name in the news being interviewed by some on from the NYT on comparing the USMA to ROTC pro and con. There are many in a large organization who will see which way the wind is blowing and jump on the band wagon. Vindman as an officer in the 50’s or 60’s would have been damming the Soviet Union for its many (true) crimes and being a vigorously patriotic officer. Moral courage (or civic courage) as the Germans call it is a much more difficult thing to display than physical courage as you well know,
