Because the ICU wards are not overrun at this point outside of China. China has over run their critical care ability and this happened very, very quickly. People who get very sick now can not get the help they need. It will happen every where the numbers get out of control or have worse care than even China. Secondly China is lying about the number dead. They are picking bodies up in homes that have not been tested and they are sent straight to the crematoriums which are running 24/7.
This virus is a game of numbers for the ones that get to the pneumonia stage. Once they over run a systems ability to care for the numbers, they are on their own...where ever this thing spreads. Because of the incubation period being so long one sick person is spreading it further than most viruses.
