The deaths are about .5% of the cases. But it may be an underestimate because the number of cases are growing so the deaths may be correlated to the number of cases we had two weeks ago.
No, the death rate is higher. You do not count numbers of cases to deaths....you count the people who went through the whole cycle(recovered) to deaths.
