I wish I knew a way to get the public to wise up and get interested. If a critical mass of people rose up (and that is, I think, a shockingly small fraction), things will change.

As for why no charges, I think that is because non-violent sedition is not a crime. The government looks out for itself first, the people second.

Good point. But even when there is a crime...leaking of classified information, perjury, witness tampering, etc.. I’m not sure how much of an appetite “we the people” have for political retribution. Many of us simply want reform and don’t care about locking anyone up.

I’ve often said - just fire the bad guys, pardon the ones on our side that got locked up for some technicality, mostly for being associated with Donald Trump, and I’d be satisfied.
