Actually, one of the most interesting and revealing reactions to the peace plan has been the response of the political parties within Israel, who have a history of staunch disagreement on nearly every issue.

It gives Israel everything it's wanted. What's not to like?

A Jewish friend on Jews & politics.

If you have 3 Jews you have 5 political parties.

“It gives Israel everything it’s wanted. What’s not to like? “

Of course it is going to get a positive response in Israel. Imagine if the Palestinians and some Arab country came out with a peace plan that said;

Borders based on 1947 Partition Plan for Palestine
Full right of return of Palestinian refugees and their descendants.
All West bank settlements returned to their 1967 owners.
Free movements of peoples and goods between Israel and Palestine.
Both countries are allowed to have a military and full control of their airspace and exterior borders.

Do you think there would be much opposition from Palestinians?
Do you think there would be much support in Israel?
