Wow, even beyond my prepping. I’m not into washing/sanitizing scene (yet), but I’m now fully prepped for it. One option you may want to consider is also spraying alcohol/bleach on food and other supplies (obviously without poisoning yourself).
Use Hydrogen Peroxide. Works nearly as well, and is non-toxic.
