Josh Mandel would’ve curbstomped Brown in Ohio in the rematch, and the polls bore that out (and the GOP swept statewide in 2018). I wonder what really happened with him to withdraw. We almost never get the truth, but I think many of our good people are threatened in some way, why so many choose not to run. Why wants to have themselves and their family subjected to the treatment given to Palin or Trump ? There should be at least 60 Senate Republicans today.
Probably, but I never count woulda, coulda, shoulda cuz strangely enough when races actually start, some GOP stars fade and others appear. Ya never know.
