No particular point at all.
It is interesting to note the disconnect here between judicial appointments and Senate confirmed executive branch appointments. The GOP Senate has been far less supportive of POTUS on executive branch appointments. Senator Graham famously threatened not to confirm a replacement for Sleepy Sessions. Romney lead the charge to sink Trump’s important Fed picks. Collins took umbrage at the outstanding Ratcliffe. Reportedly, he was “too mean” to Mueller for her taste.
All that leads me to suspect the judicial appointment are far more McConnell/GOPe judges than Trump judges. Only time will tell. Hoping for the best there.
