On the day of his impeachment acquittal, President Trump has announced another round of judicial nominees. Below are their names and bios, courtesy of the White House.
David W. Dugan of Illinois, to serve as Judge on the United States District Court for the Southern District of Illinois.
David Dugan currently serves as a Circuit Judge for the 3rd Judicial Circuit, Madison County, Illinois. Prior to taking the bench in 2017, Judge Dugan was in private practice for more than 30 years, where his practice focused on personal injury and commercial litigation in both State and Federal Courts. Judge Dugan previously served as an Assistant States Attorney for Madison County, Illinois. Judge Dugan earned his B.A. from Eastern Illinois University and his J.D. from Valparaiso University School of Law.

Waiting impatiently for the supreme appointment. I trust it’s been thoroughly vetted and is a really good one. also that McConnell has a much improved and much shorter confirmation process ready to roll. Giving Feinstein another opportunity to Smear smear smear a nominee must be prevented imho. I bet it’s all arranged and ready to roll!
We’re all waiting for the Supreme appointment. But Ginsburg is a tough old bird.
I have a conspiracy theory about that. RBG is soon to announce she cannot continue, and the entire impeachment drama has been played out with since late last year with a view to the Biden Rule and claims that an impeached president (even an acquitted one) cannot nominate and see confirmation of a SCOTUS judge in the last year of his term; the voters must decide.
You read it here first. Total confirmation that I'm a conspiracy nut.

[WD-Pennsylvania] Christy Criswell Wiegand of Pennsylvania (mid 40s?), to serve as Judge on the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.
A batch of district court nominees. OK, I’ll gladly take these but I really want to see the remaining Circuit Court spots filled.
I wouldn’t put it past them to pull something like this. McConnell has already said he would not follow the Biden rule.
