Schumer likely made it clear to Sinema, Jones and Manchin that they would receive ZERO help in their next election if they didn’t toe the line and keep it from being a bi-partisan acquittal
Jones is DONE, but Manchin is not up for re-election AND if Sinema is up for re-election she IS DONE, Romney is not up for re-election the party has to take care of him!!!
Why anyone thought Sinema would vote No, I don’t know.
I watched Mitt last night yukking it up with Lamar Alexander, both of them standing and cheering at the dutiful times. I said out loud, “both of them will pull out their daggers tomorrow.” So Alexander, at least, surprised me.
Regardless of all the screaming today, I still say Mitt owns Utah for as long as he wants.
