Former Vice President Joe Biden acknowledged on Wednesday that he “took a gut punch” in the Iowa caucuses this week, after partial results showed him placing fourth.
“I’m not going to sugar coat it: We took a gut punch in Iowa,” Biden said at a rally in New Hampshire. “The whole process took a gut punch. But look, this isn’t the first time in my life I’ve been knocked down.”
The final outcome from the Iowa caucuses on Monday is still unknown after technical difficulties with an app used to report tallies forced results to be delayed.
So far, totals from about 71 percent of precincts have been reported and show Biden standing in fourth place behind former South Bend, Ind., Mayor Pete Buttigieg, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) and Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.).

That’s when Obama is going to signal for the black vote in SC to quietly abandon Joe, so he will lose to Bernie, with Bloomberg in a “surprise” close 2nd to Sanders, leaving Joe in 3rd. He will then be finished.

He had that carefully polished “aw shucks, I’m a good old incorruptible guy from the Scranton coal fields” image that people fell for. For quite a while, I fell for it and thought he was not in it to get rich and he really was pure of heart, not a scoundrel. He sure suckered me.
Biden has run for president way too many times and flamed out each time. He should have figured out a long time ago that the party’s faithful just don’t like him.
