I suppose the “vote tally” is news, but I think most of America has lost interest in the impeachment, do not really understand or accept the “crime”, and expects it to be just as it has been from the outset - a partisan endeavor.
The only solution to the partisan divide we currently endure is to give the GOP back the house. The democrats should have given this more thought.
Ryan and his crowd of republicrats are no longer there. This GOP house will be far different and much more conservative than the last one with a Senate tacking to the right and a President who would love to codify his winning agenda.
The DNC has bet the house on impeachment and resistance. Trump is going to make every house race a referendum on his agenda and I am more optimistic now than I was before impeachment that the GOP could gain back the house.
