Why can’t he just retire? Its not like he is in his 40’s or 50’s, I mean, let someone else run who can last another couple decades.

And then he recused himself, and when Mueller was appointed he - and the President - were basically blocked from investigating without interfering with the Mueller clown show.
So perhaps he is angling for a job and needs to stay in line for his payoff.
Sessions wasn’t “over his head as AG”. He is deep state. He still could be a good senator just like some other good deep state senators. But he isn’t “america first”. BTW I have a good senator that is deep state too. Risch ID
He should have gone in there and cleaned house with both barrels. He was a pansy and a waste of time who lost a great opportunity to undo vast amounts of Obama damage.
