Planned Parenthood despises President Donald Trump.
The billion-dollar abortion chain slammed the Republican president repeatedly Tuesday on social media as he gave his State of the Union address. In his speech, Trump emphasized that every human life is a sacred gift from God and must be protected. He urged Congress to pass a law banning late-term abortions, which take the lives of thousands of unborn babies every year.
Planned Parenthood, however, wants abortions to be legal for any reason up to birth, and it is dumping huge amounts of money into the 2020 election to push its agenda.
This administration is doing everything in their power to limit access to health care and abortion, and to control our bodies, Planned Parenthood acting president Alexis McGill Johnson wrote in response. We are stronger when everyone can control their health, their rights, and their future.
This president wants to ban abortion and control our bodies. Plain and simple. #SOTU, McGill Johnson continued.
The abortion chain also criticized Trump for inviting a little girl named Ellie Schneider and her mother to the State of the Union address. Ellie, now 2, is one of the youngest surviving premature babies; she was born at just 21 weeks, six days of pregnancy, weighing less than a pound.
Ellie reminds us that every child is a miracle of life, Trump told the nation. Thanks to modern medical wonders, 50 percent of very premature babies delivered at the hospital where Ellie was born now survive. Our goal should be to ensure that every baby has the best chance to thrive and grow just like Ellie.
Trump urged Congress to consider children like Ellie as they debate the budget and a bill to ban late-term abortions.
I am asking the Congress to provide an additional $50 million to fund neo-natal research for Americas youngest patients, the president said. That is also why I am calling upon the Members of Congress here tonight to pass legislation finally banning the late-term abortion of babies.
That visual reminder of the cruelty of late-term abortions did not sit well with Planned Parenthood.
Using a child who was born prematurely to shame people for their personal health care decisions is a new low, its Greater New York branch responded on Twitter. Abortion is health care. All people deserve to make their own personal health care decisions. Period. #SOTU
Though the abortion industry is spending at least $45 million to get Trump out of office, it noted that he already has made a huge impact for life that will affect America for years to come.
Abortion rights are hanging on by a thread, the abortion group tweeted, noting that Trump has appointed dozens federal judges who are hostile to our constitutional right to abortion.
Trumps impact for life is evident by the abortion industrys vitriol. Pro-life leaders have praised the Trump administration repeatedly for working to protect unborn babies from abortion.
In one of his first acts as president, Trump reinstated and expanded the Mexico City Policy, which prohibits taxpayer funding to groups that promote or provide abortions overseas. The change defunded Planned Parenthoods international arm of about $100 million in U.S. tax dollars.
Then last year, the administration finalized a new Title X rule that requires health care entities to completely separate abortion from their taxpayer-funded services. Planned Parenthood lost about $60 million annually through the policy change. However, the abortion group is suing to block the cuts.
In December, the Trump administration enacted another rule to protect American taxpayers from funding abortions through Obamacare. Pro-abortion politicians also are suing to block that rule.
It also has been working to expand religious freedom through conscience protections for medical workers who believe it is wrong to kill an unborn baby and expanded religious exemptions for Obamacare.
Internationally, his administration also intervened to stop the United Nations from supporting abortion in a resolution about sexual violence. In 2018, under his leadership, the State Department removed references to the so-called right to abort an unborn baby from a global human rights report as well.
Trump also has appointed dozens of conservative judges to federal courts, including two U.S. Supreme Court justices.
So these women are having fugue state sex?
Planned Parenthood acting president Alexis McGill Johnson wrote in response. We are stronger when everyone can control their health, their rights, and their future.
Everyone except babies. Got it.
I think we need some law like they have in Europe, where cigarette packs are covered in disgusting pictures of diseased lungs. Let’s pass a law that abortion clinics have to be covered in pictures of aborted babies. If we have to let them operate, let’s have some “truth in advertising”.
Satan’s Army just has to be able to kill innocent babies in order to be happy.
He is married to Melania, he does not want “to control your bodies”, I suspect he wishes you would do that instead of murdering babies.
Murdering babies is not what Americans want, Planned Homicide...
“Control our bodies,” from the mouths of those whose fondest wish is to destroy, mutilate and sell for profit the bodies of defenseless innocents. Funny how the utterances of liberal murderers tends automatically to shine a light on their own sins.
What a dumbass organization. They hate women who choose to respect the bodies of their unborn and how sare Trump honor them for doing that?
Like the crooked Demonrats, PP is scared of loosing untold billions due to righteous legislation. Besides, Trump knows a demonrat majority would never approve such a bill since they’re hellbent on death and destruction.
Trump control their bodies?
These hags want to murder their children’s bodies.
If women won’t control their own bodies, government needs to step in to protect their babies’ bodies.
Planned Parenthood
The ‘father of lies’ speaks through them.
He has a place ready for them.
