I’m relieved. That’s actually a pretty good show.
Leftists have accepted certain things as true, which are simply not true.
I believe the resulting mental contradictions render rational thinking and intellectual honesty impossible.
They see abortion as a woman’s health choice, not as the taking of an innocent life. They are wrong. An innocent life IS taken.
They see gender as a choice. They are wrong. It is NOT a choice.
They see climate change as being a human caused crisis. They are wrong. Climate change is neither a crisis, nor is it caused by humans.
They see wealth as a fixed resource, to be divided equally. Wealth is NOT a fixed resource. People create wealth by competing in trade and productivity. In competition there are winners and losers. There can be a safety net for the poor, but wealth can’t be spread out evenly without destroying the incentive to compete.
They see strong military defense as being provocative. They are wrong - it is weakness that is provocative.
They see increased Federal regulatory authority over private industry as being the solution for an excessively high cost of living. They are wrong. The solution is free and robust competition. Large corporations lobby (bribe) the federal government to weaken their competition by selectively imposing regulatory hurdles. Therefore, further empowering the government is counter productive.
The list goes on of false ideas that Leftists choose to accept as true.
Eventually, these inherent contradictions take a toll on the Leftist mind, and they can no longer think rationally, or remain intellectually honest. They become increasingly desperate, deceitful and incoherent.
