Have you ever been invited to dinner and arrived to find the dinner is on but the couple is having a fight that hasn’t quite ended? It’s already too late to gracefully excuse yourself and hit McDonald’s. You are stuck between too people having a serious squabble that might, at any moment, devolved into a food fight. That is how this feels.
I can tell you, I would never come back or even invite that couple over again. I suspect America will respond the same way. In this case, we know who provoked the fight and won’t stop it. We work with the “husband” and he is our friend. Not so much, the wife.
While on the subject, I have often felt Hillary Clinton is America’s crazy ex-wife. Every problem with Democrats seems to be based on, or a reflection of, a bad family situation.
